Wilderness Woodend is an approved pet shipper with Air New Zealand. 

We specialise is sending exotic pets - from parrots to reptiles. We do also ship loved family pets like cats and dogs. 

We only offer our services from Christchurch Airport, but can ship anywhere in New Zealand.

We operate 7 days a week to facilitate a booking to suite your travel needs. 

Air New Zealand requires bookings and drop off to be undertaken by an approved pet shipper, this is where we can help make the necessary bookings and plan the trip for you, finally meeting at Christchurch Airport to lodge your pet with Air New Zealand.

Pricing

We try to keep our pricing as fair as possible, the pricing below is total price including airfares and agent fees. Please note there are some variables which we can confirm any required changes for oversized or heavy bookings.

Cage requirement examples

To fly you animals with Air New Zealand we must adhere to strict regulations set out by the airline and IATA for pet travel. It is our responsibility to ensure we adhere. Below are some example of acceptable crates for travel. We will discuss this further at booking to ensure you have suitable options available.
