Wilderness Woodend Wildlife Tours
Tours have now stopped for the season as we approach the cooler weather. We are however able to take bookings or enquiries for groups wishing to book a tour.
We are excited to offer guided tours of our property, where you’ll have the chance to meet some of our incredible residents - parrots, reptiles, and other fascinating wildlife. Come see what we’ve been working on and get inspiration for your own pets or animals in care.
This experience is a long-term developing goal for our property, and in the meantime, we are offering you the chance to explore and see our progress.
Tour Details:
- Available on selected dates
- Tours operate at 1:00 PM, and punctuality is essential. The tour will begin promptly at 1:00 PM, so please ensure you arrive on time.
- Bookings are Essential – No Walk-ins.
Important Information & Conditions of Entry:
- Tours are available for ages 10 and up. As our experience is still a work in progress it is more suited to maturity, and those who can handle a structured tour around the animals. We are flexible on this if you believe you have a little person slightly younger but has good listening ears and can understand and enjoy the structured tour.
- Each tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours but can vary.
- Please note that there are no public toilet facilities available on-site at this time.
- During the tour, you’ll have the chance to see a variety of wildlife and interact with many different species. However, not all animals will be on display or available for viewing.
- Photography is permitted.
- The tour takes place outdoors on rural terrain with uneven or mixed surfaces.
- Vehicle access around the tour is not available, so mobility is required.
- Although care is taken you enter the property at your own risk. Wilderness Woodend is not liable for any accidents or events which may occur during your visit.
- If you need to rebook, please provide 48 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in your ticket being forfeited, and you may not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
