How to treat poultry for Red Mite using Diatomaceous Earth:

• Targeted Application: Dust the powder directly into the cracks, crevices, joints, and corners of the hen house where mites hide during the day.
• Perches: Rub the powder onto wooden perches and perch ends, as mites crawl over these to reach birds at night.
• Nesting Boxes: Lightly dust nesting areas and mix into bedding.
• Dust Baths: Mix DENZ DE into the chickens' dust bath (e.g., with sand or soil) to help them treat themselves.
