Moxidectin Oral Bird Wormer - 100ml

Moxidectin Oral Bird Wormer is a trusted antiparasitic solution for treating internal worms in aviary and pet birds. Delivers effective parasite control with straightforward dosing, simply add to drinking water. The recommended treatment protocol involves a 1 day treatment period, followed by a second application two weeks later to eliminate emerging parasites and break the lifecycle. Ideal for maintaining flock health and preventing common worm infestations that can compromise bird vitality and performance.

Directions: 5ml per litre drinking water.

Moxidectin is regarded as the bird wormer of choice by most veterinarians. It is effective against roundworm, hairworm and any external parasites that feed off body fluids (i.e. red mites) It can be used during moulting, racing and breeding and can either be given in its concentrated form directly into the throat or alternatively diluted into the drinking water. 

The egg withholding period for Moxidectin used in chickens, at a dose of 5 mL per 1 L of water, is a minimum of 10 days, and potentially longer for meat consumption.

Brand Name: Cydectin Oral Sheep. Please note we do NOT use or sell the "s" version which contains Selenium. Selenium can build up and be fatal to some poultry and bird species.
